Being recognized for our work is always a thrill for the team at Kimberly Timmons Interiors and not just because we like to win, who doesn’t. The value of recognition is in sharing success with the client and builders, the designers, the sales teams, and product suppliers and manufacturers who were all an important part of the process. It is in high-fiving the home team when we get back to the office and saying “Good Job!” to the newest person involved so they understand why we set our expectations so high.
The value of recognition is that each award is a bright luminary along the path we take, indicating we’re headed in the right direction. At the 2017 International Builders’ Show in January, KTI was honored with a series of prestigious recognitions that we celebrate with special pride. This will help ensure that the next set of great projects we take on receives the utmost care and attention, as the following wonderful winners did.
The Happy Canyon Residence, an unforgettable resort home in Colorado, won a Platinum Award for Outdoor Room and a Silver Award for Specialty Room at the BALAs, along with a Silver Award for Best Interior Design of a Custom Home at The Nationals. The home features an expansive grand hall with soaring 38-foot ceilings with carefully crafted, authentic detailing and furnishings that extend onto the expansive outdoor living spaces, making it a truly memorable estate.
Taylor Morrison’s Terrain 4022 was also recognized at the Nationals with a Silver Award for Best Interior Merchandising of a Model 2,500 to 3,000 sf. This Mountain Contemporary design combines natural textures, metals, and rustic woods to preview a lifestyle of refined simplicity to move-up buyers.
The award for Best 55+ Clubhouse on the Boards was given to the SaddleBrooke Ranch Clubhouse, which is currently under construction. Working with long-time client, Robson Communities, our team is rethinking the traditional golf clubhouse with a splashy style that blends modern amenities with a high-end residential point of view. We are eager to give this active-adult community a point of pride and expect to see this project continue to light our way a little further down the line.
Kimberly Timmons Interiors recognizes these accomplishments and appreciates the hard work and dedication of our staff, our partners, and the vendors as we work together and enjoy the journey, one luminary at a time.
