The Marketing and Merchandising Excellence (MAME) Awards honored Denver interior design firm Kimberly Timmons Interiors (KTI) with a total of five awards for their work in a variety of spaces, including commercial, residential, and community amenity. KTI was also part of the Skyestone design team that was awarded Best Community of the Year.
KTI won for a range of projects, including Best Sales Office Over 600 Square Feet for the Skyestone Denver Sales Office (Taylor Morrison) and Best Community Amenity for the Fairway Villas Clubhouse at Green Valley Ranch (Oakwood Homes).
The firm’s work on detached model homes was also recognized. The Thompson River Ranch Park House for Oakwood Homes, Yampa Plan 905 won Best Interior Merchandising of a Model – Detached Home, 2,601 to 3,500 Square Feet. KTI’s Pradera Umbria Plan 6 for Celebrity Custom Homes took Best Interior Merchandising of a Model – Detached Home, Over 3,501 Square Feet, as well as Best Outdoor Living Space.
In each of these award-winning spaces, KTI created appealing, modern, and unique interiors.
The Sales Office for Skyestone is designed in a “Colorado Modern” style that uses beetle kill pine planks, steel columns, hickory hardwood floors, and patina copper sheet panels. With a down-to-earth feel accentuated by bold pops of color, the office is inviting and attractive to visitors.
Similarly, for the Fairway Villas Clubhouse, KTI incorporated the colors of the Colorado sunset into the color palette with a “resort” feel. By applying the palette throughout the clubhouse, along with the selection of engaging materials, lighting, and furnishings, a consistent flow is created through its various rooms.
On the model home front, KTI’s Pradera Umbria Plan 6 won two awards – in interior merchandising and outdoor living space – for its resort-worthy amenities. The 4,873-square-foot model home in Parker features radiant heated pavers, an infinity pool, a hot tub, and breathtaking views of a private golf club and the rolling hillside. Its notable back patio—with an expansive lounge seating and dining area—acts as an additional outdoor living room and dining room designed for use during all four of Colorado’s wonderful seasons.
Kimberly Timmons-Beutner, founder of KTI, was proud of the wins. “There are so many talented interior design firms in Colorado,” Timmons-Beutner said. “So it’s a real honor to be recognized by the Home Builders Association of Denver.”
Since 1997, KTI has been creating timeless designs and inspired spaces for thehospitality, commercial, residential, and resort industries. The Denver, Colorado based firm brings an unparalleled artistic vision to every project, from merchandizing to clubhouses to restaurants to model homes. Under the leadership of founder Kimberly Timmons-Beutner, the KTI team has been recognized for its work all over the world.
