Black and White – Classic Combinations Never Go Out of Style

Kimberly Timmons Interiors was delighted to be a premier sponsor of Colorado Homes & Lifestyles Redesign Debut Bash and joined many from Colorado’s amazing home design industry in enjoying all of the above on Tuesday January 12th.

Beginning with an always elegant theme – Black and White attire, there is nothing like style to add instant flare to any evening. Giving such a simple, timeless ensemble color pallete to a group of interior designers, architects, vendors and other creatives is always beautiful.


Way beyond Wine and Cheese, Kevin Taylor Restaurant Group presented seafood classics of shrimp and crab cakes combined with an eclectic mix of international comfort foods such as grilled cheese and tomato soup shooters, pot stickers, and empanadas. Dessert tables featured delicate custard and berry tarts and chocolate cups filled with cream and topped with a coffee bean crunch. The room came to life under the spell of the signature drink “Colorado Palomas & Lifestyles” a swirling mix of grapefruit juice, lime juice and soda mixed with either vodka or

Of course, style and sustenance are clearly accompanied by good times with old friends and new. It’s always such a treat to see so many colleagues, contemporaries, and counterparts in design at such gatherings, making it so easy to mix Business and Pleasure. With many luminaries of the local design industry among the more than 250 people in attendance there were new and interesting acquaintances at every turn.

Team KTIAnd of course a good party becomes a great party when there is wonderful cause for celebration. The night was in tribute to the launch of CH&L’s new look – the Redesign Debut Bash unveiled a sophisticated update on an already great product. We all know design has to move forward in order for the past to have significance. The new look is sleek, open, and purposeful with serene pagescapes combining the well-crafted narratives and beautiful images we have long expected of CH&L. Success and Celebration always go hand in hand and KTI was honored to share in these warm moments of style and merriment.
